No doubt AG -- Bet Wescott hasn't had the stands that full since the 90s!
The big three were scary good, but their back 5 were just as scary in the other direction and could cost them a championship this year. That said, the only area I thought FCD was stronger overall is at GK.

Would have liked to see that, but the dd had conflicting practice. Glad it was a strong turnout. And, with both SMU teams nationally ranked, hope having all those soccer people on campus helps recruiting.

I watched about the first 10 minutes of this game and I was pretty disappointed. I didn't see the precision, control or possession that I expected. Maybe I just didn't watch long enough, but I can watch 05 D1 level soccer at Lake Highlands every weekend so I went about my business.

Had the opportunity to go to the game. Great atmosphere for both teams. I didn't make it until FCD was already up 3-1 late in the first half so couldn't tell you how the game looked in the first half. Second half it was all Solar and thus the final score of 4-3 Solar. Fun to watch the top Solar girls in that game put on a good show in the second half. I would say they deserve their USWNT call ups.

Both teams were split this year due to age.. that was not the national championship team and it wasn't the third place team either. Disappointing game. Would have been more fun to watch the two teams that ended up in the finals last year but didn't play each other during the final run actually compete one more time...still a few great players this year but diluted by the rest.

Spot on E...that FCD goalie kept things in check!! A&M got a winner. Maybe the back three(2 of the 5 are vets) will improve by this summer when it’s time to really compete.
It’ll be fun to see how things go OCT 12th.

Wow.. what game was I watching. I watched 4 balls fly by FCD keeper without her even moving a body part. I saw her bat a ball with no one even around her and had to go a few feet and actually pick it up herself because no one was around. One or two saves .. not sure that is amazing. I want to watch it again. Anyone have the link to the game? I am curious now. Better than Solar's, per BigErn, but not amazing that I remember.
