Boy's Leagues- what's the difference? Empty Boy's Leagues- what's the difference?

does anyone actually know the difference between all of the leagues for next season? ECNL, Classic, NPL, Plano? I see every team is advertising NPL but really don't understand what it is or how a team qualifies for it. I'm guessing that ECNL or Classic 1 is top league as that's where most DA kids went? any help would be appreciated.
