DTN-1
DT Vigil-0
DTN dominated the whole game with 99% of the game on DT-Vigil's side of the field. DTN had a lot of shots on goal just couldn't put them in the net this morning. In the 1st few min. of the game DTN had one bonce off the post. Another was recalled on an offside on a corner kick. Not sure how that happened with 5-6 DT Vigil players in the box or on goal line but it is what it is.

Was not an offside call... The ball went out of bounds before ending up in the net. That's why Vigil got the goal kick.
I'd agree DTN controlled most the game but Vigil defense and keeper looked good. Could have been much worse score if Vigil hadn't disrupted nearly every attack on the goal.
The one goal DTN scored wasn't even a shot on the goal. It was a deflection/super-high bounce that fell in from the sky well above the keepers head.
The better team won today, no-doubt. But let's give some credit to DT Vigils defense. The girls worked their tails off.

Thanks for clearing that up as we didn't have a good vantage point of the call since it was on the other side of the pitch for us. We just went off one of the refs told us. We thought it was a strange when he told us. An out of bounds sounds much more likely.
I will agree with you there that Vigil's defense & goalie worked hard. Your goalie while little (saying this because mine is too) did a great job and had her work cut out for her. She didn't back down. Always a fun clean game for both teams.
