Where is everyone playing? Let's get an idea of the competition in each league!

No idea really where anyone is playing, I assume LP teams will be back at ECL in Flower Mound/Lewisville but that's an assumption on my part based on the fact most of them played either there or SDL last year and from what some have been saying on here SDL needs to step up their game if they want to attract the teams to play in their league.

I'm anxious to see where SRSA is going to play because I enjoy watching them play, same goes for DT South and a couple of other teams. They played in Primtime last year but no idea where they are going this year. Plus it sounds like there are quite a few new teams or at least some hybrids of past teams coming together, so there should be some interesting games with so many new combo's this coming year.

I would personally like to see the top 10 teams play in the same league. Realistically how are these teams supposed to get better without playing the top teams on a continuos basis? SRSA, DTS, Samba, Sting and Juve all got better by playing eachother several times last season. I hope we can all do it again on the big field.

SRSA has not made any decisions on where they are playing. I would assume we will be playing 11v11 with Primetime like last season. I am personally looking forward to the next season outdoors.

I agree that the top five teams are SRSA, DTS, Samba, Sting and Juve -- but who are the other five teams that round out the top 10?

* DT Davis
* Odyssey
* Solar (Webb/Canevari)

Solar Solca and SRSA are the same team remove them and add FC Dallas Copa.

I would also squeeze in Polaris Black Curiel.

I would take out odyssey and solca and put in fc dallas and polaris black.

What about this Cosmos 03 team how would they compete with top teams?
I've seen Solar Webb with guesting SRSA players, but not

Who is your top teams for 11v11? Which teams are prepared for the big field?

My guess is the same top 5 are ready. Cosmos also are prepared to compete at 11v11.

Your guess sounds right Samba black has played 11v11 and are already signed up for Primetime on the big fields Juve Black has played alot of 11v11 DTS played 11v11 u10 last season in EAL gold and came in second behind their sister 02 team.

Where did Samba and Juve play 11v11 last season?

I'm looking forward to see which Sting team is going to step out for 11v11. Will it be Mendoza or a combination of teams??

FC Dallas COPA played well in Prime Time 9v9 last season, but not sure if they are ready for the bigger field just yet. Just my opinion though.

I get all the Solar teams confused. There's a 2nd team coached by Derek that played in TGPL last fall, correct? Whatever that team was, then put them in the Top 10 for me.

True, the times that I've seen Kat's team play there were "guests" from SRSA so it's hard for me to separate.

FCD Copa and Cosmos were the next 2 for me that are just outside and looking in.

Odyssey is the class of Tarrant Co from what I have seen. Although I don't think that they played in any local tournaments in November so it's hard to say exactly where they would rank in TGPL. In addition to 9v9 in U9, they play 11v11 in Primetime West U10 and hold their own. They are a very deep and disciplined team. I'm sure that they will stay in PT West since their fields host many of that league's games -- unfortunate since there are few opportunities for teams to play across leagues outside a tourney here and there.

All of the most competitive teams can gather in the PYL league and still continue to play their usual outdoor league (SDL, Prime Time, etc...) PYL let's teams pick the day(s) (Fri, Sat, and/or Sun) they wish to play, so there is no danger of conflicts. There is also an end of season tournament included. Details are available at www.progressiveyouthleague.com
