It was too cold for FCD to play, but not too cold to go to the USWNT game! Hopefully the game gets made up, rather than getting recorded as a forfeit, we pay too much to just throw away a game!!! Just hope Dowell can stand up to his parents and do the right thing. Time will tell.

Anyone have any commentary about this game? Mendoza has been a strong team and Curiel has gotten better over the Winter break, but my money would have been on Mendoza. Great win for Polaris!!

What if you thought the league was wrong in making the girls play? For you, maybe not the cold, but horrible field conditions or some other event that you felt was not safe for your daughter? Could you imagine a situation where you disagreed with the league so strongly that you would rather not have your daughter play no matter what the league said?

Well, then I appreciate the coach/parents making the decision not to play. My DD was not interested in playing cold weather and I had no interest in watching from the sidelines. If the game gets re-scheduled, GREAT, if not, oh well. We played on Sunday and it was cold enough.

Hotsoccermom, lets try and keep this thread civil, no jabs at any team please. Just trying to find out scores. It was BumpyPitch that asked about the FCD vs. SRSA game. JJ only replied to that portion of that post instead of copying the whole post. I'm sure you just misunderstood. JJ only replied that the game was cancelled.

Now are there any more scores to report? Any shocking upsets? Any feedback on any good match-ups? I'm bored. Sadly my DD's game was cancelled too. Probably best, she would have played like crap in that weather.

SRSA '03 is a great team and it can be frustrating to have to play them and lose. However, it seems to me that they win because of talent and hard work. It is not like they are cheating and beating our daughters.

And, while you may find some examples to prove me wrong, the SRSA voices on this forum seem well-informed and post for the "right reasons (share scores, pass along information and give sane opinions)."

FCD forfeited the 9:20 game. Sad that they didn't want to play. Don't blame them too much though. It was very cold.

Sunday's score was 13-0 vs 02 Liverpool Hansen.

Nice start for the "new" D'Feeters. I know it is "just" DIAL, but you have to start somewhere.

I believe Juventus and FC Dallas East (Ledbetter) are in DIAL Gold as well so by the end of the season maybe we will know more about this/these teams.
