I only saw the last 5 minutes of game, my 00 DD had game....if anyone was @ the game and could offer any post game analysis that would be great. I am sure the wind was a partial factor. I believe Sting had a few "guess" players.

OK - got to actually see a few teams in action today!

TGPL
SRSA vs. Sting Davis - 5-0
Sting played pretty much a defensive game and tried to capitalize off of break aways - defensive game somewhat worked - break aways didn't. Still a good showing for Sting Davis - SRSA still looked like SRSA...

PTCL
Fever Black vs. DTFW (Hernandez) 2-0 - Fever dominated possession, but could not cash the check on many shots - one goal was with the DT GK down hurt - not a quality game for either team - but DTFW held their own. Going to start giving them a little more credit.

GSSC Black vs. Solar Canevari - 3-0 - Wow, did not see this one coming - was not the prettiest game, but GSSC played as a team and finished well. Solar showed how young they are with each other and could not finish - even with many opportunities - much individual talent, not much team work going on.

EAL
Sting Mendoza vs. Triumph - 5-0 - Called this one - Mendoza is playing well, Triumph is lacking in key positions.

Liverpool Danglish vs. Liverpool St. John - 4-2
Liverpool St. John came to play today - played with 1 man down / no subs and showed a lot of grit against the "top" LP team - although they got the loss - I would chalk this one up as a win for St. John.

Fever Black 2 DT FTW 0 - as mentioned, the girls couldn't get shots to land but held possession of the ball the majority of the game.

SDL
Fever Black 11 Sting Goodman 1- girls were landing all of their shots and working well together.

TGPL

Sting vs DT South - exciting game between 2 top teams. South had the better play the first half with Sting pressing the attack and playing a large part in South's end most of the second half. A 2-2 tie was a fair result. Both teams are close and there was no clear indication of who is better on the day.

Cosmos Black vs DT South - even though the Cosmos lost only 1-0 this was a great example why TW is such a good coach and this group will be ready come select. He had his girls ready to battle against one of the very best teams in the whole age group after losing badly to SRSA in PTCL last Sunday.

SRSA vs Sting West - to say SW played a defensive game is understatement. They flat out packed 11 in the box only crossing midfield on restarts after goals. The strategy limited the goals to 5, otherwise would have been 10+

Sting vs Polaris Black - heard lots of cheers from Sting side. Pretty quiet on Polaris end.

Who won the Sting Mendoza vs FCD Premier game?
