Good results for DFW Tornados and Odyssey Gold.

Would think that the Texans White North and Odyssey Gold teams feel very differently about their tie today. For Odyssey, it's a good result considering that they are in essence a new team and tied a team that kept its D2 bye. Good job!

Should be an interesting season in D2 & 3

Eight games - 5 ties and 3 wins

Was a bit surprised on this 0-0 tie. For a former D1 team that keep all it's starters ( Solar Blue) I really thought they would make hay with most D2 teams. Hats off to Solar Gold! I heard two of their starters were benched for the game. One was 10 minutes late.I commend a coach who treats all playes with the same rules, even before a tough game.

Great result for Solar Gold and a super way to start of D2. If Solar Blue thinks that they can just drop down to D2 and win every game, they just got a loud wake up call yesterday. I would think this is the message that was delivered loud and clear to this team.

dang, thats kinda harsh... both are strong teams, this result does not shock me too much..

Absolutely not trying to be harsh. Point is that there is good soccer being played at the D2 level, and it's not enough to have just played in D1 last year to think that you can do well. If nothing else, good wake up call, early on for Solar Blue, but too, Solar Gold will, in my opinion, will show that they were worthy of the promotion, and finish ahead of returning D2 teams.

we loved playing Solar Gold... had awesome matches with them and no doubt they are quality...

I think there is very even competition all over the 96 division.. gonna be a good year..

Solar Gold is indeed a good side but doesn't have much strength up top and will struggle to score. Strong mid and solid defense. Wouldn't surprise me if they have a lot of ties and close losses.
