Same cups better atmosphere. Know it was a home opener but FC Dallas seemed to be trying to step it up...not a Sounders game yet, but getting there.

cups were 20 oz for $4, last year they were 10 oz for $2. No price difference, but better size.

Nice start for FC but second half looked scared. Cooper and T. Henry Had their way with them for the most part. Looked like they dumped their game plan from the first half and put everyone in the box in the second. Also, a rotation of injuries has got to be a concern. If they can stay semi healthy, then FC might make a run, otherwise we are probably looking at last year all over again.

No t a sounders game because Dallas doesn't have sounders fans. It has been said that Dallas is not a sports town, it's a winning town. Win games and the fans show up otherwise they won't (I am looking at you "new" rangers fans)

It's a true statement but there have always been idiots watching baseball in Arlington. Buddy Bell, Pete O'Brien, Pete Incawhatever, etc... etc... They all saw suckers in the stands.
FCD is in the boat where they need to win. American soccer people are weird. The ones that play don't support and the ones that support don't play so with Dallas' extremely large participation rate FCD is in a predicament.

yeah but the stands used to be near empty. Mavs used to be the same way. Even the lauded cowboys went thru a period like that

Or they could just build a new stadium every 5 yrs. PHP was packed the first half season it was open and almost always 15-16k + the second year

Tale of two halves once again. Does FCD use a different game plan in the second half of their games or are teams just figuring out how to game plan against them after the first 45 minutes? Or does the field just slope that bad? Suspect

Schellas pulled Leyva to teach him a lesson and for some reason shifted several positions. Needless to say, it cost the team.
