Yes, we will be playing with an '02. Therefore we will be classified as an '02 team.

So....was that the real reason for the forfeit last weekend? You guys called yourselves '03's but played with several of Colvin's '02's, the "guest players" that were filling in your your 2 or 3 starters that were out? Did PT let you forfeit instead of facing the embarrassment of having to admit to breaking the tourney rules or something by having '02 Colvin girls on your '03 team?

I don't believe they are breaking rules by using 02 players while playing in a 02 bracket.

How would playing in a 02 bracket using 02 girls be breaking the rules??

unless the 02's were not on the roster?

I was only asking. I'm not sure what the rules are but I was curious why last week it was ok to call themselves an '03 team when they had '02 players but this week they are calling themselves and '02 team because they are "playing with an '02".

looks like a tough 11v11 bracket. will be an interesting weekend.. why so few teams i wonder?

You could call your team anything you want, like a "Boys '01 team", no matter. It only matters the age of the girls on the roster and the field, and having 02's on your team for an '02 tourney is normal and fine, no matter what your team name is.

WOW, these are going to be some great matchups!!

Glad to see Juve ready to come out and play. See if they can pick up where they left off. I would expect to see some rust on this team on the big field, but never count them out.

Fever has been playing well and getting some 11v11 experience on Sundays vs '02s. I think they will compete well against Juve, but fall to Sting & DTS. I think they will keep it close.

Final is going to come down to DTS and Sting. If DTS cant play their scorer up front, then Sting wins this matchup. I do not recall DTS ever losing 2 in a row to ANY '03 team. Might this be the first? Either way, it will be a low scoring game. Final score will be 2-1.
