Human Rankings 5/14

Human rankings...

Add your own to compile as part of the BCS.

Also this top 30 is my first draft at who I think will make in LH Qualifying. Teams 20-30 are still in flux and a bit blurry. Upcoming tournament season should clear it up a bit where some teams will show strong and others will drop out of contention completely.

1 FC Dallas Premier - Finished league play strong with 4-1 win over DT South
2 Dallas Texans - Playing boys, brilliant move? We'll see
3 SRSA Colvin - Team has come together well despite the haters. Finished league play strong 4-1 over Dynamo
4 Dallas Texans South - Even with Dynamo, played to a 1-1 draw recently
5 Solar Dynamo - Even with DT South, played to a 1-1 draw recently
6 FC Dallas Renfro - Strong showing in EAL Gold
7 Fever Red - Finished leage play strong with 3-2 win over FC Dallas South
8 Solar Chelsea Gio - Great showing in April tournament
9 Waco Lady Blast - Always strong, recent wins over Sting and LP St. John
10 Sting Rezai - With recent movement within the club, this team has gotten better
11 TFC - Also strong in EAL Gold
12 FC Dallas South - Polaris had something special as a team. Will they bring it to their new club?
13 Liverpool St. John - Took their lumps in TGPL Gold
14 Sting East Dunstan - Solid top 20 team
15 D'Feeters - Losing more players. Definately trouble in D'Feeters camp.
16 Solar East Barnes - Recent 1-0 loss to Sting East Dunstan
17 Texas Spirit North - Recent win over Dynasty
18 Dynasty SC -
19 Saints Priddy -
20 Sting Parker - Similar talent to teams 21-24. Late season spring league game was 1-0 over Texans Red.
21 Dallas Texans Red - Recent tie with Solar Stark, tie and win vs Kicks
22 Dallas Kicks - Recent win and a tie vs Solar Stark,
23 Solar Stark - Recent tie with Texans Red, lost to Kicks (twice)
24 Mustangs Navy - Recent tie with Solar Stark, Dallas Texans Red
25 Liverpool Thompson - Won Cowtown this weekend againt an FC Lubbock team that tied Dynamo this year
26 Fever White - Lost to Texans Red in league play
27 Cosmos Wallace -
28 Solar Jones - Very strong in ASA league
29 Liverpool Rush
30 Celtic

Would like to know where you are getting the stats to rank these teams? Why you think you know how teams will fain come qualifying time?

The point of a human ranking is that people rank teams based on their personal opinion - which can be formed from observation, experience, what they know about the morale of a team, team politics, statistics, pure speculation, etc. If you want statistical rankings, look at the FBR. The FBR has been shown to have a high degree of success in predicting QT results, but it has its limits too.

Seems like too early for another human rankings. The last human and BCS was basically at end of season. This is the time where a lot of people are changing teams and guesting all over. Seems like this would make sense after the next set of tournaments like late June. Our team has lost 2 and added 3 players and have a few new coming out this week to practice. I have heard from others with the same kind of thing going on. I think we should wait until mid June before going through the effort of ranking again.

I tend to agree. We've beeen pretty stable, numbers wise, but I'd like to wait awhile so the HGH injections and weight training has had some time to generate the maximum effect on game performance.

Luckily all the labs will be fully occupied with the olympics this summer. No testing in north texas.

oldboot said it best, these come from personal opinion, experience, observation etc.

I wouldn't mind a human ranking with each FBR that comes out.

Doesn't take a lot of effort to throw something together and share your opinion.

It's for entertainment purposes only anyways, and I'm in favor of cheap entertainment. cheers

Heard Powell was no more...strange because they seem to really be doing well. It is the 2 months before QT, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised about anything right now!
