from my understanding as long as they are eligible for select they can play up

Actually from what I was told last year, a player can not play up their first year. We had an 01 that wanted to play with us last year and were not allowed to register her.

Thats not right! As soon as they become elidgible for select (U11) they can play at whatever age you choose

Triumph is correct, of course- a U11 player can play in the U12 division.

Unless the rules changed from last year. Because we had a girl with bithdate 8/10/00 who could not register with us because she was considered an 01. The league says you have to play your age group your 1st year and then any yesr after you can play up.

Dont know where your getting your infomation from but thats not correct. No such rules when a player reaches select age

Got my info from first hand experience. Went to register the player and was told she could not play up her first yr.

That must be a recent rule change. I know plenty of kids who played U12 once they turned U11.

triumph is correct. as soon as child is eligible at u11 age, they can play up. a u 10 cannot play up w/ u11
