NFWASA Galaxy also won the Quickfoot Keller a few weeks ago!
Yes, there is enough talent in Tarrant county and could have great teams in older divisions if only they don't migrate east.

Hopefully they'll play the Kick It tourney August 11... the top '04 and '05 teams will be playing in that.

I thought Honey Badgers was the Odyssey 04 team, we watched them in a QF tourney in April and they were very skilled.

Don't know but Ody registers through Keller so I doubt they are the same.

Both groups are from the same odyssey 04 team some also play rec with NFWASA

Honey Badgers ARE very good...
Galaxy are not QUITE a rec team per se:
NFWASA Galaxy = 3 Odyssey players, 1 Texan, and 1 L'Pool '04 Rase player that is arguably the best player in the region!
Most teams could play .500 ball with JUST her and 4 rec players...She's THAT good. :-)

Most of those girls play in the same rec team, that's why the rec team name. But yeah, they all play academy. 4 of them are from Odyssey '04 (the RASE player came originally from Odyssey and is on "loan" to RASE 
). She was filling in for another Odyssey player who was injured.
Honey Badgers team is very good. Playing lots of 3v3 tours en route to Orlando nationals.

Liverpool 04 out of Arlington gave these two teams great games. Even in the finals it was a good game. It was the Liverpool 04 first 3v3. I enjoyed the competition and touches and the fun of these tournaments. Great job to everyone on a fun weekend!
