Ok, I see these teams are coached by LW.
Can someone from LP enlighten us on what these teams are???
I assume a mix of LP Dalglish 03? 04 RASE?

What a nice group of 03 teams in this Puma Cup....should be some interesting matchups
I was sorry to see Cruz Azul "03" not included. I had heard that they were making the trip.

Last I saw on the website the tournament was a 9v9 not 11v11 but that was before Tut went down the tubes.

This looks like it has the makings of one of the better tournaments in a while.

Just noticed Solar Red is in. Who is this? Is this SRSA? Says coach is Missimo but no game history in GotSoccer.

Defintely looking to be a good tournament for the top teams.

I don't know this for sure, however I think they have pulled many top 03 players and are making two top teams. LW and KB will coach the top team and DD will coach the second team. Soccer4fun said he was coaching an 03 Team and the link (below) to a post by lfca05Rush, inviting girls out and list the three coaches. Just a guest but maybe 03 Girls RASE and 03 Girls Dalglish, much like the 04s are set up now.

When I called to get the team registered, I was told the set up would be 11v11. That is not the case. 9v9 with max roster of 14 is not what we want to play.

I can understand that a team may be working on 11v11, but this is still a great chance to get a look at some new players, get touches on the ball, and develop Soccer I.Q.

Totally agree coach, but that is just not our game. We will continue with our scrimmages twice a week to get touches and rate the talent that has joined the team.

I understand that I am not all that bright - but It seems the PUMA cup needs some help with their communications efforts - does it not specifically state under the "tournament information" link that the U9 division is 11v11?

They did at least update the FAQ section to say it is 9v9... Rule #1 when putting on an event, be consistent with your message....

Anyhow, it will be a great tournament regardless, too bad SRSA will not be on display, would have been nice to see how the new LP teams, DTS, Juve and new up and comer Vitesse would have held up.
