Sting East 04G Piper had some impressive wins in the tournament.
They are a VERY good team...speed, skills...they'll continue to have lots of success.

Anyone know why the top teams did not play in this one ?

Just my opinion, but it's summer, a lot of teams have players on Vacation and opted not to pull in guests or play short in the heat. I would also say that there are several teams that did play this tournament that are good teams, and would imagine that they too were short players or pulled the girls from less than optimal pregame activities (Swimming all day prior to the game etc)
Either way, hopefully the teams that did play had fun and I think Aug/Sept should be pretty interesting with two Tournament options in Aug and 1 at the end during Labor Day weekend.

I agree Sting East 04 Piper is a pretty good team. Can't wait to see how everyone looks in August as they get ready for the Fall.
