Results from last weekend?

Ok, beyond TGPL Gold and a few Silver scores how did some of the other leagues fair? I think EAL started last weekend and I'm pretty sure PTCL started as well but so far no updates. From the website it looks like the PTCL league ended up with some pretty good teams, Fever, Polaris, Cosmos, and Sting West to name a few.

Cosmos playing in PTCL on Sundays and TGPL on Saturdays.

DT had some athletic players that may develop into top level players. I, also, liked the way she coached the girls to play possession soccer. This team will soon give other teams more than they can handle.

I think the Cosmos girls got the message from the coach after Saturdays game vs Fever and rebounded nicely.

I thought Cosmos played tough on Saturday but didn't hit the back of the net, in the first five minutes of the game. Had 3 or 4 shots on goal! Good group of girls.

I agree with you on Barakat - no shame in losing to Cosmos and the few times I've watched them play I came away impressed with how the team played. I think they could be a team between now and next summer that can make some waves if they can get a few new pieces.

lostntexas is correct, Cosmos played a tough game but just couldn't finish the few times they had a chance. There were a couple of teams this weekend that did a good job of creating opportunities but just couldn't quite finish it. I'm chalking it up to first time 11v11 for some of the teams or first time to play on that size of field in a month or so.
