Fields closed for games 2:20pm and after due to continued heavy rain- CFBAL Sunday the 16th

For those of you playing in CFBAL - ALL games scheduled at McInnish D and Cox fields 1, 2, 3 ARE PLAYING!!!

I've never seen anything like Cox. One Sunday morning last Spring, it rained for not less than 3-4 hours and stopped not more than an hour or so before games were scheduled to begin. Not drizzled; rained. When I heard we were still playing, especially after year of SDL where a misdirected sneeze could shut everything down for weeks, I had mixed feelings. I was at once pleased and skeptical. At the least I expected a very squishy experience. But when we took the field at noon, it was at most moist. So to whomever engineered this hidden gem, Kudos and thank you.

Now watch, they'll cancel our game.

These are incredible fields - like none I've ever seen or played on Secret is...........base is 1/2 sand.

All games scheduled 2:20pm or later are cancelled due to very wet field conditions and more rain headed our way! MSG being sent to all coaches and managers as well.
