Just for S's and giggles I'll give it a shot...

Bracket A - OFC 01
Bracket B - DT FTW
Bracket C - DT 01G Red North
Bracket D - FWFC Black

Semis

Bracket A - OFC 01 vs Bracket D - FWFC Black = OFC 01

Bracket B - DT FTW vs Bracket C - DT 01G Red North = DT 01G Red North

Finals

OFC 01 vs DT 01G Red North = OFC 01 wins it all

Brackets C and D were anyone's guess.

DT Red North defeats Dallas Texans FW but loses to FWFC Black who loses to FC Dallas 02 Blue who loses to AFC Red.

It just goes to show that any given day your team may or not be "on."

Well Watching DT Red North play...IMO....they do not look like a DI LHGCL team. Does anyone else think they do?

IMO... I guess we are fortunate that they do not place teams in their divisions based off of what JH01 "thinks"

I'm just saying if you are a LHGCL D1 team I would expect better ball movement and better possession , since they have been playing together for 4 years or more. Also being able to play the ball out of the back versus just clearing the ball. It doesn't matter where the team plays as long as the players are really learning how to play the game. One would think though that the higher divisions would have the better coaches teaching the game, but I guess that is not the case.

We all know that the faster, more athletic teams win games at the younger ages.
Just because a coach has a team in the higher divisions it doesn't mean he is able to teach the players the right skills and also how to read and play the game.
When I watch other D1 LHGCL teams play...there are 10 teams...I see 7 of the 10 playing good soccer. When I watch the D2 LHGCL teams play I see 5 teams playing good soccer. When I see LHGCL D3 play I see 3 teams playing good soccer. When I watch PPL teams play, I see 2 teams playing good soccer, but admit I havent seen alot of the PPL games recently.
Also it should be easier to teach good soccer if you have all the gifted athletes in D1, in my opinion.

To be perfectly honest I actually agree with you, at times we didn't look like a Lake Highlands D1 team this past weekend. Did you happen to make it to all 5 of our games?
