Semis:
Sting G vs FCD Predator - Predator by 1
Ayses vs. LP Rush - Rush by 2

Finals:

I'll pick an upset and go with LP Rush by 1

Predator and Ayses may be the only pure teams in the mix, and that is probably not even accurate. This is why tournaments are a toss up...

I think LP Rush, Ayses Gold and Sting Parker are all good teams and can be inter-changable in the scenario.

I think "guess" players will be the deciding factor in this tournament.


I'll agree with that and give Ayses a slight edge with home field advantage.
Nothing like making a road trip to the country during Friday night rush hour...ugh.

Once again you're dead on Flygirl.

You'll note the sarcasm once you look at the teams list again and notice Sting Guiterriez is also in the tourney.

There's really not much picking to be done here it's a two horse race between FCD Pred and Sting G.

I'll pick FCD just cause they are due.

I agree - FCD is the favorite. Getting past Rush is their big task, they shouldn't have a problem with Texans Moreno - but who knows, I hear she has alot of new players coming out to practices.

Sting G will be hit or miss dependent on how many Mendoza players suit up... Ayses and Parker are both highly capable of upsetting their path.

What a beautiful weekend for soccer - 65 degrees in January- Wow! I wish we were playing this weekend Sad - maybe we will try a picnic in the park instead.

That is aside from the Mendoza GK last month in the TFC Blue Cup
So to be more precise, you could say..."Sting G hasn't used any Mendoza players since the last tournament"

i was pretty close. Rush and Sting went deep in penalty kicks to decide with Sting coming out on top and Predator beating Sting Parker by 3. I still pick predator but probably by two....

Congrats Predator - agree, they were due. Speedy, skilled team with a talented finisher and great coach.

Speculation on a FCD Predator / South combination? Don't know about that one dude - seeing that most players are from different sides of the metroplex. But that would make one heck of a team...

Wow, DTS seems to be coming apart at the seams... couple to SRSA, one or two to LP and now a couple to Predator? Did they play with Predator this weekend?

Sad that this team might not even make it to qualifying - at least in its top 5 state...

To answer your question Curious...they jumped ship.
This team is now more dangerous than ever....still not the prettiest soccer to watch though...
More or less a track meet....no real sustained possession...but they'll win lots of games in TGPL with unmatched speed and ability to finish.
Teams will need Chris Hansen's help to catch this Predator.

And yes they played with FCD this weekend
