Does anybody know anything about this new Platinum league for SDL? Right now it looks like most of the top teams are playing in the Primetime Sunday league.

Just curious.

Not true really as many if not most still playing primetime just on Sunday instead of Saturday. I believe its mostly due to Saturday sdl fields being closer to select games that many of these coaches have on Saturday.

No doubt top teams in both age groups playing sdl just think not all on same day which would be ideal. Hopefully divisions out soon.

We have played both and will do again this season. Both are run well, and the powers that be go out of the way to help out in my experience. No difference really other than SDL offers the younger leagues where PT TGPL is U9-U10. SDL does cost more, but if thats an issue than dont play in the league.

I guess I dont get the bashing of the leagues?

I agree, we play in both leagues and enjoyed both leagues. It's not so much about the league than it is the competition. Just wanting good competitive games. I don't mind spending the money as long as the games are competitive and my DD keeps progressing. Just my opinion is all.

This is where I'm getting confused. Up top, people are mentioning how teams are 'abandon(ing) the sinking Titanic that is Primetime'

Yet, here, https://www.txsoccer.net/t14268-primetime-clubs-league-03-girls-division, it looks like most of the top teams are playing Primetime on Sunday.

And here, https://www.txsoccer.net/t14262-03g-sdl-spring-team-list, it doesn't look like much competition.

Just trying to figure this all out.

What am I missing?

that's a little backward. sdl is the titanic, losing teams, charging through the roof and begging teams to come. TGPL is now the league to be in while sdl is an also ran
