Current rankings include game results from 10/1/12 through present.

Teams listed in this current rankings have either played in an NTX tournament since Jan. 1 2013, or I have found to be registered in an NTX academy league for Spring 2013. I do not have information yet on what teams are registerd to play in PAL, DIAL, UAL, or PSA, so a team that is playing in one of those leagues may not be listed in this week's rankings. I will add those teams back into the rankings once schedule information is posted for those leagues.

I would say this is relatively accurate with a few exceptions based on play. Lp rase is too high in the rankings and Gutierrez also , and also west is too high . But who am i to argue with your statistical wizardry?

And Vitesse is surprisingly not higher.

I was wondering if DTS would drop. RASE beat them sometime last fall but I don't think that was the main reason. Bet it has to do with level of competition each has been playing in last 4-8 games

It's a bit of a numbers thing... Between the last rankings I published in Dec. and these rankings, I not only added Jan/Feb tournament results, but also dropped all results from last Sept.

Without going into all of the gory detail, RASE Sept. results weren't that great and included a loss to RASE '04 and a draw against DT South Baraket in Plano Labor Day. RASE's net improvement in adding the Jan/Feb results vs. dropping the Sept. results was better than DTS.

HOWEVER, it is quite possible that these 2 teams will flip-flop in next week's rankings, as RASE's 2-1 win over DTS on Oct. 6th will drop from the history.

Same thing for Vitesse. Vitesse's TGPL and PTCL were front-loaded games against the stronger teams from those leagues pretty much all in Sept. Vitesse's Oct/Nov opponents were very weak, which impacts their SoS quite a bit and caused them to slip down a few spots. There's not much differentiation between #11 & #21, so small net swings in ranking points can lead to relative large changes in actual rank. Basically, it says that it's not a big surprise to see any of the teams in the 11-21 range beat another team in that range on any given day.

Based on all of the chatter I have seen on this board over the past 6+ months, I am assuming that Solar Chelsea Colvin is the natural extension of the SRSA "B" team that played in TGPL Silver last fall. If I get a consensus that is not the case, they will be removed from the rankings and will reappear after their 3rd game played in TGPL Gold this spring. Of course, since I will be dropping the oldest week of games in the history as I add each new week of games this Spring, by the time we get to week 4 of TGPL, Solar Chelsea Colvin's rank will be based solely on their TGPL Gold performance this Spring, no matter what.
