The Dallas Texans ECNL staff will be holding open tryouts for the 2000 age group (girls born on or after 8/1/99). This tryout will be the 2nd of a very small number of tryouts.

Date: Friday, March 22nd
Time: 6pm
Place: Farmers Branch Park

Like the other ECNL sessions you do not need a release because it is ECNL versus Lake Highlands.

If you are considering ECNL clubs, I think listening to what Coach Sean Bubb has to say is worth the visit for comparison purposes as he
has a very clear vision.

Can you really compare the FC Dallas complex to the Texans Practice facility?
Texans and Sting have a "Practice Facility" so I don't think FC Dallas can take the same credit.
When comparing the two Texans are top notch.

Just my personal opinion.

For whatever reason Ross Stewart isn't open on the day in question, so the ECNL tryout was moved. *shrug*

As for UEFA, don't feed the trolls.

I know...right?!? The nerve of those people. I asked my DD if she wanted to skip this practice because it was at Farmer's Branch Park and the fields weren't as nice as Ross Stewart. She looked at me and walked away shaking her head in disgust. I guess she will be at tryouts on Sunday...you?

Dallas Texans '00 ECNL Empty fields

Comparing Fields:

FC Dallas Fields- There are many fields and are decent...but if my boys team has to share a half a field with 3 other teams??? Come On?? Ridiculous and we pay alot of money.needless to say, we are not going back to having 8 teams share one field.

Ross Stewart- yes, great fields. If they have to be closed on Sunday, find another spot, no big deal. Texans also only have 6? fields and have to take care of them. But IMO, the teams that use those fields should pay more. Other teams should not have to pay for the fields they cannot use or get on to use.

Sting fields- Richardson- Same comment and combine comments for other two fields. The fields are great. I do not think all Sting teams should pay the saem. If your team uses Sting Complex you should have to pay more and not have too many teams on one half of a field.
