LP RASE 03 (3) Sting Davis (0) - Forfeit - Sting D will be favored in the UFC bout with Cruz Azul. My advise is take them to the ground early...

Sting Gutierrez (3) FCD Predator (2) *GAME OF THE WEEK and maybe the season. Two very solid teams both with powerful offense. Sting G is coming off being the penata at the SRSA party last week while Predator put up 8 against Cosmos. This game will come down to defense and goalkeeping in which I give Sting G a slight edge due to their talented center defender.

But make no mistake, Predator has the momentum and confidence to give Sting G another lashing if they do not bring their A game...

Personally I'm looking forward to the Sting Davis/Cruz game more than the others. Davis plays strong defense and isn't pushed around easily and Cruz plays strong...well they are just strong.

Predator/Guitierrez game should be fun to watch. I think Sting will win but I know Predator has added a few additional pieces to their attack this year so shutting down the one forward doesn't mean you shut them down anymore. Much more balanced attack which should lead to more opportunities for their forwards. Guitierrez hasn't given up a goal yet in league play so I would imagine this game will be like most of the games between the Top 4 in the age group (minus SRSA). I'm thinking a 2-1 win by Guitierrez.

So in hopes of recovering from my last place finish last week here are my picks

Vitesse 0/ Solar Gio 4 (assuming SRSA supplements them with enough players to play)

Sting Gut and Predator is clearly the game of the week. But Sting Good v. LP Keegan could have some fireworks.
Aggressive physical play + loud parents= fireworks

I predict rain and another round of makeup games. Any more extensions to the schedule will result in a bunch or forfeits due to tournament season starting.

LP RASE 03 (4) Sting Hilton (0) - LP RASE has been strong all season. They will finish strong against Sting H.

Vitesse (2) Solar Gio (1) - Vitesse has finished strong and pulled off some upset wins, I think they will get one more.

FCD Premier (1) Fever (1) - I can't decide which Premier team will show, so let's go with a draw.

Sting Goodman (1) LP Keegan (2) - Goodman has a couple of good wins, but is reeling of late, Keegan is at times unpredictable, but still a team on the rise. I would not want them in my pool at the QT.

LP RASE 03 (3) Sting Davis (0) - I predeict a forfeit.

Sting Gutierrez (1) FCD Predator (2) TGPL GAME OF THE SEASON for sure! Predator came back from the winning the Tulsa tournament and delivered the most lopsided victory in the TGPL this season. I thought Sting G would play closer to SRSA's level, but their loss is nothing to be ashamed of. I think the only team that is closer to SRSA than Sting G is Predator, but the game will be tight.
