a new team, new possibilities, new friendships, new dreams. for most the beginning of a fun journey, for others an experience that will teach them and their parents a hard lesson. good luck to all the girls who play the beautiful game...

And it begins....tomorrow you find out the truth about your child's potential team, coach, club and direction. You find out if your coach has been honest with you and has the promised roster spot and contract available. The parents get their first look at the Team Facts Sheet and verify the investment required for their child to play on the team/club for the year. You learn about the Club that will be overseeing your child's development and determine the ethics, values and commitment of the people, Directors and Coach's involved.

I hope everyone will use their instincts and knowledge to find the best situation available for their child. One that meets their personal goals and helps shape their future. Remember - as with everything in life there are choices available. If it doesn't feel right take a step back and assess the situation. Do your research and take the time to review your decision and available options. Ask questions, talk to other parents and children. Every club, team and coach has their plusses and minuses..! Lastly, ask your child how they feel about it..in the end it is all about them.!!

My hope is that every parent and player finds the right situation for them this year. Good luck to everyone and enjoy the season..!
