Re: 01 LH QT Round Two Predictions and discussions
A. Redstar playing the best soccer. Infinity (Everyone hates them for getting in on a crazy rule if they take the me against the world they get in.) If I go bye the who is playing better soccer I chose Kicks Blue. Sting didn't see so can't comment noticed they struggled against AFC.
Picks. Redstar, Infinity (against all odds)
Bracket B. Looks know to be the tougher bracket see the world really isn't fair.
AFC Red tough gutsy team, Aztecs a skillful team, Fusion PPL Champs, Strikers finding the back of the net.
Picks. AFC Red and Strikers.
2 PPL and 2 Classic and 5 teams (including LP) upset at LH and taking it out on PPL or Arlington in the fall season.

Re: 01 LH QT Round Two Predictions and discussions
B: Frisco Fusion, Lady Aztecs
Aztecs had two good King Tut wins over Kicks Blue and NTX Strikers. Their Round 1 performance was nothing special, but they took care of business. If they can withstand the NTX Strikers size advantage, they get in. Really think Fusion, Aztecs, Strikers could play 5 matches against each other and there would be different winners each time....

Re: 01 LH QT Round Two Predictions and discussions
Fusion went 1-1 against Aztecs in two June tournaments but I'm sure there were lots of guests on both sides.
Should be a fun tournament and great competition!

Not sure about Strikers' roster for King Tut. In Fusion-Strikers game last fall, Strikers scored two goals in the final five minutes to win 2-1 and hand Fusion its only PPL loss.

Check your stats. Fusion did not tie Aztecs. Fusion was able to beat Aztecs 3-2 at Flamefest. Aztecs were missing a few key players and had 1 guest player. The next weekend, Aztecs beat Fusion 2-0 with their regular roster.
I will say both brackets are tough and there will be no easy games. Good luck to all!!

Good on Aztecs for having their regular roster for one of those June tournaments. Fusion had a bunch of guests and starters missing both of those games. I remember Aztecs to be a good, tough team so Saturday should be fun.

My bad! I misunderstood your statement. Naturally I was a little quick to defend the DD's team.

It S-U-C-K-S!!!
Oldest DD played in her 1st and LAST "Midnight Madness" softball tournament last month. Games played from 8pm-8am on Friday & Saturday night. Never again. It was brutal for everyone, DD's and adults.

Aztecs played a tight game with Fusion this morning. Game was won by Aztecs' superior speed and athleticism.
Strikers were slow out of the gate, but man-handled AFC in the second half.
Tonight will be a game to watch.

Funny, I just got an advertisement for a Midnight Madness soccer tournament today. It's in Louisiana and right during the fall season, but the idea is good. Fun Halloween idea for the girls! (Parents... not so much!)
