01 LH D3 November 2 Poll

A little Fall Championship game between TX Lightning vs. Sting North should be interesting. Will this game be a show case of physicality versus finesse or something else?

I think it will be just that, a battle of size and speed vs finesse and touch. my theory is that finesse always succumbs to brute force. this will probably be the game of the season. good luck to both.

Sting North has developed more physicality this season. The blemish on Sting North's record is a tie vs Lady Aztecs. Aztecs has lost only one game (to Lightning).
Lightning has taken care of business in all but two games. Which ended in ties vs Redstar and Strikers.
As has been said before, how the game is officiated could play a role in the outcome.
But I don't believe there will be any succumbing by either team.

the thought of sting being a brute force team never crossed my mind. in my book sting is the better skilled team, but size and speed is had by lightning. should be a great game nonetheless.

Sting North Angell played their best game of the season yesterday. Lightning Black showed good sportsmanship and played a hardworking, clean game. It was Sting's day. Lucky 7's might need a username change. lol, I agree. Sting's game was definitely at its best yesterday. amazing talent and tactical skill. I noticed almost every play began to develop in the backfield as I think it should. 2 pollsters called it correctly overwhelming majority had Cosmos winning this one. Congrats to FC Dallas on beating the odds
