'04 Outlook (Then & Now)

Im taking this one right from the '03's page.  I know so much will change for the '04 between now and this time next year.  I wanted to start this thread to see what has and what didn't.  

A good way we can go back and reflect on ... Team changes/mergers, Player team changes, Coach changes, Rumors and anything in between .. Let have at it and see !!

How long until Solca and Pulpaneck start an '04 team for Solar?

You mean, when does LW and friends joing Pulpy and friends at Solar...

I heard the same. The verbiage in the contract is being finalized. The sticking point though is, LW will only move over if they provide uniforms that are completely different than the rest of the club.

All I know is I'm ready for the end of QT already and to settle in and watch them play soccer for a year without all the team changing drama.  Everyone I talk to, no matter the team, seems unhappy with their kid's current team for at least a couple reasons.  They may or may not change before the end but this is the list:

We are wondering if our DD has learned all she can from this coach and needs to be challenged to "take it to another level" (translation: we think our DD is USWNT bound but most of the rest of the team and the coach suck.  Also, we are not winning enough).

We think Mr. B and XYZ club are just fine but our DD visited a practice and really likes Mr. A and ABC club (translation:  Mr. B and XYZ are fine for your DD because she sucks but we must have a club with ECNL because we can already tell that our DD is the best 9/10 year old soccer player in the country and we want to spend a fortune on her and then try to break even later with a college scholarship).

Our coach seems to not notice how good our DD is and is "playing favorites" with other players (translation: our DD is not starting because she isn't as good as the starter).

Practices are too big and the coach can't focus on developing "our team" and "our DD" (translation: a really good player who plays our DD's position is showing up to practice).
