US Mens National Paralympic Squad

So I have been offered the role of an assistant coach on the US Mens National Paralympic Team. We have just finished 2 training camps, one in Carson CA at the National Training facilities which is just outside LA Galaxy stadium and the other in Chula Vista CA at the Olympic Training Center. We are looking for VERY GOOD players that have the following
Cerebral Palsy
Stroke
Traumatic Head Injury
This is not a club team but the NATIONAL squad!
I will still be coaching my teams at Triumph as well so no change there

Congrats on the new coaching position! Love this!

There is a boy (1st grade) I know that has CP and hearing loss that is playing recreational soccer for the first time this year. I am going to share these videos with him!

Most don't even know the team exists. I know Stuart Sharp (head coach) has big plans to get regional camps by 2015 and a Junior National team started. A lot of the National players play or train in a normal team/game environment. I will be visiting local Associations that have Tops programs as soon as I can

International Tournament in Barcelona Spain May 31st - June 9th
Copa America Canada Sept 17th-28th
We don't have much time left to look at players.
Right now we have around 30 players in the player pool but 12 of those are youth.

Had to miss last weeks camp as teams had important games here in DFW. Looking forward to Barcelona and the 7 a side tournament that follows our 4 day training camp. It will be the first competitive tournament the new look squad will have played in. I will keep you all posted of the teams progress
