Player Movement for Next Season Empty Player Movement for Next Season

Spring season has begun, and it will be over before we even realize it. Anyone thinking about the next year already? How will some of the changes of D1 teams (Higgs move from TXN to STING) affect other teams? Will some of the core players move to different team from FCD blue/Solar Pulp/D'Feeter's due to lack of performance? Any changes from D2 or D3 land? Just curious as always.... Very Happy

Looks like D'Feeters needs do something soon... It will be embarrassing to have their top team, the team that will move on to ECNL, end up in D2 next year. Looking at the top 5 in D1, Rush seems to be ripe for pickin' given their non-ECNL status...

Let's clarify, D'Feeters club will be fine, this team won't exist in it's current form after relegation to D2. I would see a Rush or even Rezaie migrating to Feet to take that ECNL slot. You are correct with movement the following year, their 01 team is solid top team already but there will still be lots of new faces before the ball drops for first ECNL game. Crazy times ahead!

I predict there definitely WILL be player movement this spring and some of the teams mentioned in this thread WILL be involved. Thanks for starting this thread - it is never too early to speculate about player movement on this forum.

Are you saying that nearly an entire existing D1 team (with a bye) will leave their club and join defeeters? Who would that be?

No one is suggesting NTx team will be the ECNL team for STx. However, they could add a few NTx players on their STx ECNL team roster, similar to some NTx ECNL teams have done with players from outside the DFW region (Waco, Oklahoma, etc). Besides, Rush (or any other club) will not be stupid enough to give up the ECNL spot and potentially destroy their established revenue stream in STx.

As I said above, I predict they will have a D1 team next year. If the current team gets relegated, then they will go recruit another D1 team. Just reference the 00's.

"If you guys all agree to move from club X to Feet, you will end up as the core of the ECNL team next year. Who's in??" Yes, they will get a team. They will also have open tryouts for ECNL and fill out that roster with excellent players. If the example of the 00's hold, Feet will be getting player commitments to their ECNL team this time next year. Assume there are 100 girls that have the ability, desire to play ECNL, 20 do them will end up at Feet. How good those are compared to the other 80 and how fast they gel or how much of a core they have is the only question.
