Assuming two divisions of 8, with two brackets each (or more), will there be a semifinals unlike AFC last fall?

For AFC tournaments, we play full-length games in pool play and do not have semi's in divisions of 8 teams or less.  The money saved by not playing semi's goes toward things like field rental, trophies (not medals), and paying referees for full-length games.  We charge $175 less per team in U10 than the KSMDT, which plays mini-games.

I feel that I do a fair job of seeding teams and placing teams in competitive pools based on coaches input.  Every goal and every minute in pool play is important.   Also, when I email coaches for their input on seeding, it is important that reply to me BEFORE the schedules are posted.

Registration and payment deadline is tomorrow (Friday - 5/9).

Lady Aztecs will need to get past Odyssey tomorrow AM first. Could be a good barometer as to how both team are playing (e.g. LA tied Mustangs last night 1-1, Odyssey beat Mustangs 2-0 this AM). The question is how many girls are guest playing for LA - I know for a fact that 0 have been guesting or are guesting with Odyssey. The team Odyssey has now has been together for years (barring a few new additions that have joined over the past year to help make up for the 2 players who started with Odyssey and are now playing for RASE) - I am glad the team we have today is the one that will show up for qualifying - it seems like a lot of teams will be different in 2 months compared to today. I have always maintained that playing with the same players and team pays great dividends over time, although it is counter to how much of the Select Soccer world seems to roll today.

The real question is will RASE stay intact and will any 04 team be able to compete with them for more than 10 minutes if they do.

The Aztec 05 tied mustangs last night, the Aztec 04 play mustangs this evening.

I wonder who is playing on/with the Pulp team in this?

Good catch - I didn't realize the 05s were playing up. Regardless, I think Odyssey and LA play tomorrow AM. Odyssey will have a roster pure team - no guest players.

The Aztecs 05G have some darn good players. Not surprised to seem them compete very well with some 04G teams.
