Why so many teams looking for players?

There have been so many teams inviting DD's to come out and try their team in this last week. Certainly most of these teams are teams that have had some problems right?
I realize most of the league play games are over, but with so many tournaments upcoming why would players be leaving their teams now.
- Parents and DD's alike both said we'll just tough it out through the end of the season?
- After the last game of the season the coach as said it would be best for the DD to find another team?
- DD's are practicing with other teams and not getting their release?
- Or some other scenario's that I am missing?

Welcome to April/May in the world of North Texas soccer.
As for your statement about teams that are looking having "problems" Teams are looking every year to add players. That goes for the top teams all the way down to the bottom teams. There is turn over every year.

This is correct. Everyone is looking this time of year and every team wants to be prepared for any surprises as well. Doesn't matter how set with their roster they might be.

I haven't dealt with this before...do coaches easily grant releases at this time of the year? Or do players secrectly try out for other teams?

There may be a few players that sneek around to other practices but I doubt its a very large number. If a coach let's a player attend practkce without a release the coach could get in hot water also
