Parents,
Please chill. I know this is a stressful time with all the player movement and tryouts. Your insanity, however, will not help your DD. Furthermore, it makes practice unbearable for the other parents while you walk around trying to get all the scoop and gossip.

Please, just take a bite out of a Xanex. Talk to people about work, about a book you might have read, maybe about which guy Klinsmann will use at holding mid - but just chill about the musical chairs. Every parent of a girl who loves their current situation but isn't a lock on spot is nervous and doesn't need you stirring the pot. Just be gracious. Remember this is about growing up and you acting like a 13 year old doesn't further that ambition.

Yes...the life and times of 11 year old soccer. Mine is an '00. Still has some drama to it, but either not as much or most everyone just handles it better.

cheers  I think we all need to remember this is our dd's journey, not our own.  It's crazy to me how much drama is stirred up by the parents acting like middle schoolers, when we are supposed to be the ones setting an example.  My advice is to relax and let things work themselves out.  There is way more to life then NTX soccer.

Yep, drop them off and go hit a bucket of balls. Your blood pressure and handicap will go down.

Whatever.....

This is competitive soccer not montessori soccer. If you cant deal with competition or pressure - or teach your DD how to deal with competition or pressure, go back to your toe poking rec league in Addison and celebrate mediocrity with a participation medal. Don't forget the orange slices for halftime...

Insert B-bag picture here. If you want to talk about the MNT there. Is a different forum, I am certain. AF, you do not have to participate in the conversation. Drop your DD off and go hit balls. If keeping up with the movement is too much for you, remove yourself and for certain don't share it with your DD.

Ha - y'all got me wrong. I love it, my kiddo loves it - but it is stressing some out.

I'm for Beckerman as well. But I'm of the opinion the 4-2-3-1 with a double pivot suits the players and allows MB to generate from deep.

I didn't understand AddisonFootballl's monologue about Beckerman and blah blah until saw that I had a type-o.

B-bag should have said. D-bag. Someone used to have a clip art of a douche bag to insert.

Too much tequila last night.
