Is that Sting Central 01 team in D1 the same team that finished winless in D3 last year?

I think that's a clerical issue that Sting/LHGCL need to work out. My understanding is Sting '01 Donovan (Hilton) should be in D1 and Sting Central '01 should be in D2.

I do not know how similar the Sting Central '01 roster is to the roster from the D3 team from last year.

I'm guessing that if FCD South Blue had not disbanded, they would have been in D2 instead of D3. I'm pretty sure FCD Blue are more then happy to take that bye though. My question is what's up with The Sting 03 US team? Will they (or can they) try to qualify for D3? If so, I think they move to top of the list of contenders to get in.

They are D1..... That's the old Sting G mixed with FCD Premier.

I kinda thought they were the same but the link is listing them as Sting 03 (Gutierrez) and they are entered in this weekend's Puma Cup as Sting 03 US. This stuff is so confusing!

I don't know anything about this team but it would appear that this is a US Club roster for tournament purposes only. Remember that US Club is a separate affiliation than North Texas. So they don't need player releases during June and wouldn't need guest player forms now. They most likely wouldn't register this team in both US Club and North Texas so they wouldn't be entering this team in LHGCL.

In other words, the team will have different names but I'm pretty sure that those same girls will be the ones playing on the Sting G roster.
