PPL Schedules (Sneak Peek) first 2 weeks

I know it hasn't been released yet so I'm sure it will change some, but here is the PPL first 2 weeks of schedules for most age groups, some only have 1 week so far. Just did a little digging and changed the EventID and voila!!!

Didn't PYSA say that would have something this weekend? Technically this weekend ends in less than 12 hours...

New system, new scheduler, a lot more teams, fewer fields, spells headaches and disaster waiting to happen. But hopefully we'll get the first 2 weeks by tomorrow, and the rest of the schedule soon after.

Any update on when the remaining schedule will be published?

Game results are being posted by got soccer. Anyone know when PPL schedules will be posted? It really sucks waiting, and because this is a new system? This should have been tested and all the bugs worked out using multiple test teams and results long before the season started.

I would imagine it's not the system per say the system has been used and tested over and over again for many leagues and tournaments. Just that's it's new to them, and a new scheduler, added to that the drastically increased number of teams and the reduced number of fields.  Not making excuses, but I know I don't envy that job. But still for the amount that we pay, it should be a higher priority to get resolved.

And unfortunately politics and greed, have kept the decision to not add additional fields from McKinney and Frisco, that they already share in their academy divisions.

Short sided if you ask me. The need is there, but the foresight to see it and fix it, apparently isn't.

It can be fixed as witnessed by the incredible job that has been done in the academy division. CFBAL due in large part to the work of Nicole, who has been nothing short of a miracle worker, has changed the face of academy leagues.

If they build it we will come.

What would be funny to me is, if the teams that get scheduled this upcoming Saturday get boycotted by all teams, since they weren't informed in a timely manner.  Come on, seriously?  It's Sunday night and still not many teams know what their schedule is for this weekend.  SAD!

Props goes to LH for getting their schedule out quick. They scheduled the first week, but didn't wait 6 days prior to the next game to get that weekend or any other out. I guess that's why LH goes by "Competitive League" and Plano just by "Premier League"

The lack of communication is what is perplexing. Now that we are officially on the clock for week 2, it's disappointing that there hasn't even been communication as to when to expect the schedule. Makes you wonder how big of an issue the scheduling is this year with the increase in teams and apparent lack of field space.

Honestly, there is no excuse.

They have known most of the teams for a month+ and the rest for 3 weeks.  Not only that, shedules could have been started weeks before with place-holder teams.

But all of us will be back next year for the piss-poor product.

If they are having this many probelms and are this far behind - that they can't get schedules out a week in advance (I know that is probably too much to ask), should we expect schedules all year on a weekly basis?

At this rate, it appears so. I'm sure the Coaches, Managers & Parents love that.

PPL said 460+ teams registered and yea made everyone pay long in advance. At an avg of $1550 per team? $713,000 for 1 yr? Plus they just did the PLD tournament and had a record number of teams avg $600 per team? Really? Hell they could have paid a college intern to manually put the schedules together for less than $1000. What a mess.

I sent an email asking about the schedule and if a week is the most notice we are ever going to get and they responded saying that they hope to have all of September posted soon...

How hard can it be? Do they not have a system where you plug in the teams, the fields and when games can be played and it spits out a schedule?

Only through September? So another two weeks of what is already been posted. WOW! I would definitely stage a PROTEST with the Coaches, Managers & Players. I know it won't happen, but would be awesome if no one showed up this weekend at any of the games.

Nice thought but the only ones hurt will be the girls. PPL already has their money. It matters not to them except for the "no show" charge they would throw your way.
