"U.S. Women’s Soccer goalie Hope Solo said she made a “horrible choice” when she got into the team’s van with her husband, Jerramy Stevens during the team’s training camp in January.Solo was suspended from the team for a month after the incident, in which Stevens was arrested for driving under the influence. The incident occurred a week after the goalkeeper had charges of domestic violence against her dismissed."


No Hope, you made a mistake when you married a rapist and a thug. But you are a good example for our daughters that there is more to life than being a good soccer player and what happens when you make bad decisions...

Hope Solo, meet Johnny Football. Good role models are hard to find. Thankful there are still a few out there...Jason Witten, Didier Drogba, Mia Hamm to name a few.

Sorry, sometimes I get my football/throwball athletes mixed up.

true, i have talked with my kids that just because someone can shoot a ball, dunk, throw a touchdown does NOT make them a role model, just someone blessed with a skill. Hope is beyond that, she's a crappy person who hitched her wagon to a rapist thug...
