what level preferred? Gold Silver? you gonna have brackets or how the chips gonna fall?

We are still looking for a U12 girls team for the Silver bracket. If you are interested go to our website and register!

So you took a D2 LHGCL team to play in the silver group? You should have at least pushed up an comparable 04 team or a LGHCL D3 team to beat up on the PPL teams. Or cross bracket played the teams.
Sheesh - not sure it even matters because it could get rained out but this is not the way to get teams to come back next time. And shame on that D2 team for even considering playing those teams, but i guess it must've been a good discount.

Shame on the D2 team.........we have a good few missing and we haven't played since March 29th and if we get to play 1 game that's more than we've played lately. Its about getting to play not competition, we will use it as training games but of course for some of you its all about winning. They needed a team we needed to play. Years ago you just registered for a tournament and played and there was never a gold or silver division because there wasn't that many teams in select. Now everybody plays select but shame on us for trying to play......its sad that your so worried about it. Its youth soccer!

Cmon T, really? This is a competitive league and tournaments are competitive. Trying to justify this fail by saying "OH, they havent played in this long, or that its been a while" doesnt work for me sorry. its just wrong to throw in a D2 team with all the other PPL teams, when at best they are PPLD2, D3 , D4 teams.

The TD also fails in doing this bracketing, when he could have pushed up an 04 team or at the highest, a D3 LH team. Any LH team coach with integrity would say, we're not gonna go in and beat down the plano teams, but its ok, its all in fun T, so skip playing in gold division, like all the other LH teams becuase you havent played in a while, take the discount and go whoop on the PPL teams because they haven;t played for a while. Oh yea, and its only youth soccer. please. I'm sure those PPL teams are saying wow! were gonna get to play a LHD2 team - how fun!

The TD should have crossed played bracket teams, but instead decided to take the discount money now, instead of managing the teams so they can come back later.
Wont matter - cause its gonna rain anyway!

Stop moaning! Maybe teams shouldn't be in select soccer if teams are too tough.....it's a youth tournament and teams can play where they like. They needed a team and we needed to play. I couldn't care where it was......who we were playing .....just to play. I guess I'll leave others to get their panties in a wad

That's a typical answer - help me understand - they needed a team and you said "Gee let me see, since the gold division has D1, D2 and 2 D3 teams, uh don't bother moving a D3 team to silver and let us play in gold becuase the competition is better for us, ell just do Silver cause we haven't played in while? I guess your other team negredo hasn't played for a while either? that's funny.

They haven't played a competitive game at all!
Again you can moan all you like as I've already said its select soccer and they are select soccer teams not rec teams

Absolutely not we didn't care who we played as long as we got to play. It was others who got all bent out of shape because their team can't compete

Come on, if you guys really just wanted to play regardless, you would have signed up long before they kept asking for an 03 team.

Great point jsullivan! Hopefully "they can compete" now that they are in the higher bracket.

We wouldn't have played if we got our league games in but we keep getting rained out, Saturday doesn't look good either so when they were looking for a team and with our game at Chinn Chapel (first fields to always close) then a Friday night game and Saturday morning game could be all we get. So that was our thought process. Not who we were playing but when and where does have a baring. We still have 5 league games to play and haven't played since Mar 29th

The problem with most is they only enter tournaments to win. I'm not worried whether we compete or not but I am worried about getting game time as we will be way off the pace if we don't play soon. You can buy trophies but you cannot buy game fitness
