TALON DRAKE should not be an issue.
If he was allegedly coaching should bear to merit to out comes of games. I HOPE highlands keeps this in mind.

So what is there a question in the validity of talon being allowed to coach? If so then I can tell you if he wasn't supposed to be coaching they will not be given a reprieve based on past LH DECISIONS. IF you play a illegal player is like having an illegal coach. Don't break the rules and you don't have to worry about it!

I don't understand. Honestly I don't like or agree with HIS decisions. However he does not seem completely inept. I don't think he would be there coaching if he was not suppose to be.

I honestly don't have a clue about the post. I was just assuming based off of the post that lake highlands was looking into something. We all have made bad decisions and I pray he is right with God. I don't judge people because God will do that for all of us one day. I hope he has gotten help if he needs it and I am proud that the parents stood by there coach who has had problems as long as he has fixed them.

While everyone would feel sorry for the kids, RULES ARE RULES.
If you field an (ineligible) player that's not on your roster, you forfeit. If TD was coaching during QT games this weekend then those games should be forfeits - if he is not on the roster.
Seems simple enough to me.

Wow. So that is the case? They have a different coach on the roster? So does that mean it hasn't been approved to coach from north texas soccer and that's why he is not on the roster? Should be pretty interesting. I have pictures from this weekend with him the only coach for LP on sidelines?

Wait, he was coaching this weekend? I was told he didn't coach the first weekend. So why did they allow him all of a sudden? Because they lost a game? How could he pass a background check?

Don't know if he was coaching last weekend (yes he was). He was definitely on the sideline.

Such an outstanding team why not bring in barry switzer to coach. The team is good enough why risk any blemish? ?

Best of luck to LP Elite. They have worked hard for this moment regardless of the coaching situation. At the end of day, it's the girls that have to get out there and make it happen, not the coach.

This is the person in question, Tahlon Drake. For all of those out there that feel the need to bad talk me that's fine but please do not involve the team, parents, players or the club in the process. I have been cleared by North Texas to coach again by passing the background check that all coaches and managers know about. I have also been cleared of all ACCUSED wrong doings pertaining to my situation by the state of Texas. If you would like to talk to me personally for more information you can call me at 214-675-5889 or just pull me aside on the fields. Don't let this affect the kids please....Come to me and we can discuss it like adults.

Nothing good comes from a post like this so it's either an arrogant parent or a baiter. I respect that td actually responded, there are a lot of schister coaches in ntx that should be called out for their coaching. My perception is td is young and dumb as I once was, we all make mistakes. Reality is no more chances from what I've read. He obviously knows soccer and how to coach, I hope he moves on and does it right from here on out. I don't have an 05 or is my kid affiliated with lp. Best of luck to all.
