Was wondering the same thing as their ranking, but more importantly, the fact they are in ual plat this season and doing well, suggests they should not be playing silver. They won't have a problem wrapping silver a up and with their 2 teams in plat and 1 in silver b they could make the sweep for 06's!

Maybe they are rolling out a SuperCopa type roster in Platinum. Maybe the coach doesn't want his teams facing off.

Colvin working at recruiting is my guess (win and everyone wants to come over). Problem...what happens if they lose? Everyone is getting phone calls from his hounds lately. "We want your daughter, she will play wherever you want her too"...normal suspects ready to jump current ship. I think they have 20 girls on each team. Culling to begin shortly. Sorry parents. That's how it works with Solar.

A little strong on the anti solar rant. based on what I saw, they are definitely trophy hunting in silver b., why bother. The other teams seem like they are in the right place, maybe solar blue a step above the silver a's but not out of question.

9v9 after boycott of 11v11 offering. What's going on in OK?

I am not posting any predictions until my '06 AP human rankings.

OK is still officially 8v8 for U10, but coaches are agreeing to play 9v9 for friendlies, etc. Tournaments are 8v8. The prevailing thought around here is that Ok Soccer Assoc will follow whatever NTX does. Big question for me is what will the true age 05 teams be playing next Fall for U11? You are going to have some 05s who repeat U11 but used to playing 11v11 and Fall 05s who were playing U10 used to playing 9v9. Is NTX going to 9v9 for U11/U12 regardless of players who were already playing 11v11?

U11 will be 9v9. U12 will be 11v11. The current '05s can choose U11 or U12. '06s aren't eligible to go select under current rules, but a vote is coming. Some say the rule is definitely changing, others say it's not.

If 06s move up, so will 07s, 08s, 09s and 05s , 04s, 03s, 02s and so on.

We will see if Stingate's 07 team can live up to the hype this morning. They are playing a tough 06 team that is playing down in the tourney. Lots of 05's going up against lots of 07's in that one.
