DTS Adames vs. Solar Colvin

DTS doesn't have to be up at the crack of dawn this time.  Let's see if that, coupled with a full roster, will make for a wider margin against Colvin's talented bunch.  Conflicting reports about last week's game vs. Pulp say everything from Pulp clearly controlled the first half and almost struck first but allowed a late second half goal....to...DTS completely outclassed them from the opening whistle.  I am sure the truth is somewhere in between.  Regardless, this game will have more fireworks in it.

Prediction:  DTS Adames 4 Solar Colvin 1

Triumph Aguero vs. Sting E Gray

Triumph is off to a 3-1 start but they don't have any quality wins.  Sting opened the season with a quality win versus DT Central but is coming off a loss to Liverpool Redknapp (their only win).  Both teams lost 0-4 to top teams Kicks Selecao (Triumph) and DTS Adames (Sting E Gray).  This one will go down to the wire.

Prediction:  Triumph Aguero 1 Sting E Gray 1

NTX Celtic Marshall vs. FCD North Blue

NTX is D1 material and should dominate time of possession in this one.  FCD N Blue has slowly built themselves into a quality group that used to be just a notch above rec. Of all the the GOTW, this one has highest potential for an upset.

Prediction:  NTX Celtic Marshall 2 FCD North Blue 0

Woohoo! next GoTW thread!

DTS 3-2 over Red -- Red is more skilled, but DTS is just too fast and too big. This should be fun to watch but I won't be driving out to McKinney to confirm. lol

Triumph 2-1 over Gray -- That loss to Redknapp was very eye opening. Redknapp is basically a one girl show. They pound it as far as they can and hope their lone striker can run it down. Any disciplined defense should be able to counteract that. I'm actually starting to believe in Triumph more. this game might go farther to solidify that even more.

FCD North 1-0 over Celtic -- don't know much about the d3 teams but North appears to have more firepower to my eyeing of past results. lol but take that for what it's worth. (in other words, not much!)

FYI...Triumph plays Sting Guzman this weekend (10/01)...Sting East Gray plays Andromeda.  Not sure which game you intended to make the GOTW...both should be good games.

EDIT...nevermind, I see they play on Sunday (10/02)...carry on!!

UPDATE: Here's a good one. LPE v Kicks JM on Sunday -- That should be interesting. I like LPE in this one 2-0. Both skilled teams. I think LPE has a bit of an athletic advantage.

Based on current standings, Fever (#4) vs. Kicks Selecao (#1) on Sunday...seems like that would be a candidate for GOTW in LHD1??

true, but I don't think anyone wants to talk about Fever v Kicks anymore... lol I think that other thread probably wore that topic out.

It's going to be a lot of fun to see how all of this year plays out! Everyone starting new in the 05 age. Fever vs Kicks will be a great match up. However, there will be some surprises this season. I have a couple dd in different age groups. Same happening there. Sure makes it exciting!!

If you were to ask me what DTS and Colvin score would be last week i would have said 4-0 but after DTS only beat Pulp 1-0. I do not have a great guess. I will go with 2-0 DTS.
Triumph and Sting East should be close but i think Sting pulls it off. Sting East wins 2-1.
NT Celtic and FCD Blue should be an easy one for Celtic. They will over power them in this one. NT Celtic wins 3-0

Was the Andromeda/Sting East game a good game today? How well did they match up?
