Can a coach discuss with a players parents how they would go about asking for a release from team if they wanted to leave?
You should really contact your team manager or team Coach so you or them can follow the correct procedure as to what needs to be done..

Yes, you should absolutely do that. I recommend just walking the sidelines at Richland while the D1/2 teams are playing. There are always disgruntled parents around that are ripe to be recruited to a new team. This ensures you get quality players and have a competitive team right away!

I agree. The most vocal and volatile parents always have the best players on the field. They might as well just hold up red flags to identify their kids as potential recruits. Best of luck building your team!

Ask other coaches too and they will confirm also.
Recruiting rules and guidelines are only for honest coaches with integrity and respect for the game, players, and fellow coaches.

not surprised by it. I just think we are all, as parents, naïve to think that this whole system benefits us. We are sold a bag of goods, pay a bunch of money, then not allowed to leave even though we pay. On top of it, some of the coaches are actively looking to replace your kid even though you paid them to make your child better. no wonder why so many parents and kids quit before they should
