Injury at UTD

Does anyone know anything about the girl that was taken off the field by ambulance at UTD Sunday morning? I believe the game was Dallas Texans 96 V. Solar 96 at 8:00 am. I have had her on my mind a lot and I am praying for her recovery.

That injury happened on Field 4, those were 96divII teams, Texans/Solar Blue were on 6. There was a concussion where the girl was unconscious briefly but I have not heard anything else

Actually they were 96 Div 3 teams. Texans WTx v Solar White

The Solar 96 vs Texan 96 game did have an injury Saturday, Solar girl broke her leg but I don't know if she was taken away by ambulance.

This happened on Sunday at the 8:00 game. It was the field closest to the parking lot. I believe it is #4. The ambulance pulled up onto the field. They did put a neck brace on so I am thinking a possible head or neck injury. I heard it was a Texan player. I also heard that the Solar team was being very disrespectful while the player was down. I was not over there so I am not positive about what happened. I would hope that would not be the case.

Half of what you heard was right. The solar and Texan player went up to head the ball. The Texans player jumped a lil late and went shoulder first into the Solar player. When she did her head jerked sideways and went down. The Solar player looked upset that someone got hurt on a fluke play. At no time did the girls disrespect her or the team. The Solar coach pulled them to the side and he took to get their mind off of the injury. Who ever told you that they were being disrespectful may be a lil off.

Getting back to the original post, does anyone know how the Texans player is? Hoping it was just overly precautionary and that she is back with her team, well and ready to go for this next weekend.
