Heading to the showcase this weekend? Wonder how the weather will be... affraid How 'bout the refs...oh well, safe travels and hoping all the girls come back without injuries.

We haven't gone to Houston in three years and all I can say is, "Thank God". The Shootout is my least favorite event of any that I have ever been to. I would rather go to Beat the Heat in OK than fight the mosquitos and heat exhaustion that is typical with that tournament.

First game at 9:45. Not too hot but already rediculously humid. Thankfully no middle of the day games. Next up at 8:15 pm.

Strikers 1 Dynamo 94/95 0

Last heard Feet up 2-0 next field over. How did that end ?

Game ended at 2-0 against Tustin United outta California and then we played a team at 730 this morning from California but I dont know the name for sure but it ended 2-1. For once the refs actually called a decent game for both our matches and though yesterday was humid it wasnt terribly hot and this morning wasnt bad. Playing at Myers Park you at least have some trees that provide shade Very Happy Congrats to Strikers on the win how did y'all do in your other game(s)?

Feet 2-1 over South Bay Force (#9 CAS)... the Officiating was excellent, especially this morning! and No injuries! morning games! The key was NOT having 2 full games on Saturday in Hot Humid Houston, and then trying play again Sunday morning. That ruins the fun for every one!

Strikers 1-0 over Challenge South and 2-1 over Lonestars Red South. The last was a 12:30 game at Burroughs. I found a tiny sliver of shade. Apparently Texas State was brave enough to suffer the melting heat for that one, but I didn't see anyone else.

No injuries. Glad that weekend is over.
