It's ok when you have semis because you give 1st and 2nd from each bracket a chance to advance. The lack of semis really stinks and reduces the experience for the players due to ease of elimination.

Would usually expect a TOURNAMANT to include semis. Another tourney where the paying public are short-changed!

Dude, I don't care what you say. Dominic does an outstanding job running these tournaments and EAL and can't please everyone! Unfortunately, the fields aren't available. Dominic sent an email out last night stating that he was put in a position where the fields would not be available and had to make a decision on all 8 division teams and less to eliminate semis.

Had over 382 games for 228 teams squeezed around GLASA Rec league make-up games. Has 1 field closed, 42 coaches with multiple teams effecting over 100 teams, teams coming in from out of town, and every available GLASA field in use Friday and Saturday.

Can't make everyone happy. I suggest you get into the tournament business, if you think you can do a better job!

I agree sometimes you have to go with the hand your dealt. Back to my original statement. JUVENTUS should be in the B bracket. I pick DTS to run away with this Tourney!

Agreed- DT South and Juventus should be split. That is one nice thing about the PT tournaments- they usually do a great job with the brackets.

With that being said, I am sure that Dominic is doing his best. Please don't tear us a new one for suggesting that his brackets are a little off.

Not having a pop at Dom personally heard he's a great guy. It just P's me off everytime a tournament is scheduled there are no semis. Without them, you are really relying on the brackets to be perfect!

Originally, it was set to be a 6-team cross play. I changed it to 8-team division and did not adjust the seedings.
