Fever Black 03 Phiri Open Practice

Fever Black 03 is looking for a few players to round up our roster as we gear up for the Spring season. We just finished a successful Fall season in SDL finishing 6-1-1 ,placed second in the 2011 Xara Thanksgiving Tourney against top 03 teams. The girls are currently undefeated in Futsal at Sportsplex Arena (U10G) in 3 seasons, and indoor at Stampede Arena (U9G). Practices are on Wednesdays (7pm-8:30pm) & Fridays (6pm-7:30) at Arena Athletics in Euless. We have a great group of athletic, passionate and very skilled players who enjoy the freedom to be creative in a fast paced, positive environment. Our main focus is to "develope skilled & smart players" who can then play any position, at any given time.

Is this the same group that just played Solar Red with several SRSA starters? Have you guys aquired any new talent since then? Saw your guys final this past tournament. This a good team, has the potential to be in top 5 if they get a few more players. Goodluck to you guys in the Spring.

If you only knew, funny how the only forum you have posted on before was one about the new Phiri team. Now you're acting like you're not sure who this team is. Fess up, your daughter's on this team. If you want to advertise, get the Greensheet or post on the bulletin board at King Burger. Let me know when you get 9 players, I'll come watch!

Bonquiqui...I don't usually agree with your posts, but you're spot on here! And it shouldn't be that difficult for a top 20 team to pick up a few players. They're not top 5 btw....but could crack the top 10 one day....depending on how their free agent search goes.

As for the greensheet, there's no need for one, my occupation pays 000,000. It does seem odd that you only post on this team's thread? You sound disgruntled. Care to share? Congrats on your terrific job. You must be RICH!! Some of us have to sling fries at the fast food palace. Just don't get too attached to the coach. He changes teams more than you change your underwear. I am a little confused though, is he just a coach because I was told he is Director of Coaching?

If your DD is not on the team and you aren't interested in joining or re-joining, why do you even care?

Fantastic group of girls and fantastic coach. My daughter has only been with Coach Stephen for a few months now and has shown great improvements and just adores the girls on the team.

What makes the Fever organization feel like they can trust coach Phiri??? He has hurt several clubs, guess we will see what happens at the end of Spring season...
Fever has done a nice job, kinda feel sorry for them.

From what I saw at their practice a few weeks ago, this guy knows how to coach, and he has some really good talent on the team. Hopefully they all stick around.

We are looking to add a fulltime goalie to the team. Fever United FC also provides free goalie training to help your DD excel. If you are interested send me a pm. We look forward to hearing from you.

This guy is a good coach. He (along w/ Kat Webb) are responsible for making SRSA '03 what they are today and that is saying a lot. One could go as far as to say that the SRSA '03 girls have regressed individually since he took his coaching elsewhere. However SRSA has progressed as a team w/ quality tactical coaching and some good pickups to make up for some individual player regression.

Yes, I know we all have freedom of speech and if I don't like what you are writing I don't have to read it and all the other things people will say when I respond to LostInTranslation's post, but...

These are the kind of posts that are not needed. You could have just said that Coach Phiri is a good coach without going on to say that the SRSA players have regressed individually. There is no reason to take a swipe at 3rd grade girls like that.

I have no connection to SRSA other than having seen them play and enjoying the soccer they play so my feelings are not hurt by Lost's post.

However, I know people on this forum (and in real life) that say things just to stir the pot. That doesn't mean it is OK. Every now and then you have to say, "Take that crap somewhere else."

Practicing tonight from 6:00-7:30 at Colleyville Middle School for anyone that's interested. Dress warm!

Oh please, stop being so sensitive. I said your team (which is already the top team in the age group) has improved. What more do you want? I'll give you that saying the kids may have regressed individually was a slight. It was the wrong choice of words on my part. I should have said stagnated not regressed. They surely haven't regressed.

We have 1 more field spot open and are still looking for a fulltime goalie. Email, pm or call for updated practice information.
