Who does what this week
Division III predictions

OK, the top five keep changing (with the Exception of D'Feeters who have been at the top for several weeks) and we are heading toward the end of the fall season. It should be interesting to see where teams line up after the last game for the fall.

Ina, how'd it go out there tonight? My thought is that should have been a pretty good game, some back and forth.

Knowing your team a little, I am sure the girls played hard. Kudos to Flash for the win, no doubt you made them earn it!

FYI since it hasn't posted...Solar Gold 3, DTN 0. Throw ins due to the 40 mph crosswind...too many to count (At least 40).

Thanks Ina, it was a keeperless battle as neither team had theirs on the pitch...scoreless first half. Second half with the wind, Solar captialized on a few. The first half was perhaps the most boring half of soccer I have even seen/been a part of...lol.

I think that the first half has been very good competition. There are very few blow outs and the games have been pretty close. There maybe a team or 2 that is a little better, but for the most part this is a good division of comparable teams. Based on my past experience, this is the first time I have really seen it this way. It makes for a lot of fun to watch and I think the girls are really enjoying it! I am the only optimist that feels that way?

Not at all! I have enjoyed MOST of the games. There are a few teams that try to be too physical, but unless the ref is going to call it, it is what it is. I agree that the vast majority of games have been pretty close, and though there have been few surprises to me week to week, I can see many of the bottom teams stepping up in spring and taking or tying games as they improve (or get healthy)...especially if the top teams are plagued with injuries or complacency.
