My guess would be Five groups of 4 teams and Two groups of 3 teams = 26 teams..
The 7 Group winners and the top 2nd place team fill out 2 groups of 4 teams the 2nd weekend. Top 2 in each group get the D3 nod

Just waiting for Tornado11 to tell these teams how they are doing it all wrong, with these leagues and coaches and all. We need to scrimmage silently and do never ending skills.

7/19? I always thought King Tut performance played some roll in seeding for LHGC QT.

Apparently not. No need for the urgency to play Tut or Puma after signings anymore. LH knows everything about every team in NTX and will be dead on accurate with their seedings......................................

King Tut doesn't necessarily have anything to do with LHGCL seeding. They simply have representatives there "observing" the matches. I'm sure there is influence due to the fact that they are in attendance, but that's the limit.

Re: QT Schedule
I'd think that LH would carry 12 teams to the second weekend of qualifying and make 3 brackets of 4 teams each. Bracket winners plus a wild card get the four D3 spots.
On King Tut, maybe LH had some influence on brackets. They put 4 of these D3 teams together, didn't they?

I think you are right on the 12, but then go to three team brackets and winners in.

Re: QT Schedule
D3 has 6 teams at present:
FCD Pratt
Sting Gutierrez (now called something else but Sting has the bye)
Lightning Black
Sting North Angell (formerly TFC Blue)
Cosmos Black
Texans Red (Glotzbach moved to D2; Texans Vigil got the bye & now coached by Dionde)
so four spots remain. And Redstar will be one to try and take one spot.

What is the end result of that "observing":
looking for naughty parents?
looking for naughty players?
something else?

I think I am going to create a new user account and call myself Blanknado, just so I can come on here and argue with myself. Maybe I can even get Syfy to create a trailer I can use for my avatar...

I know you are confused since there isn't an objective formula to figure out aliases, but you are way off if you really believe that I am Tornado11.

Wasn't suggesting that at all. Was just trying to have some fun with your little ongoing war with T11, while dropping in a random pop-culture reference...

Did anyone really watch that Sharknado show?

Re: QT Schedule
8 teams make it to second weekend. 2 brackets of 4 team each. Top 2 teams in each bracket qualify for D3.
Didn't see a schedule though.

They did play for 5 spots, but it was due to Juventus Gold folding. Solar White and Feet came down, and Mustangs went up, but another spot opened other wise it would have been 4..
