Re: LHGCL Week 2 Predictions
But great teams find ways to win. This was the game of the year for fcd but just another day at the office for srsa and they still won 3-1....SolarPower00 wrote:If you saw the game....I doubt very seriously you'd call that a thrashing. A 1-0 halftime lead by FCD and several scoring chances throughout the entire 60 min

Re: LHGCL Week 2 Predictions
I didnt see the game. I am just saying that if they played poorly, which it seems they did, they still found a way to win. Btw maybe lp elite or dts, but the other two have no hope of ever beating srsa good day or not..Offsides wrote:If you didnt see the game you dont know. SRSA looked way off maybe it was a bad day but it wasnt even close to any game I have seen them play in the past. If they play like that against LP, DTS, Sting G or FCD G and the other team is having a good day they will lose.. no doubt!!

Geeeez. I think some of you need to re-define these terms - teams change, players move on....but like it was said before, they found a way to win on a very, very, very off day.
Nobody stays undefeated forever. They'll lose a game. Get over it. But I wouldn't bet on it in the near future.

Re: LHGCL Week 2 Predictions
Of the other two that have no chance of beating them... one is currently in first place. The team they have no chance of beating, is in fourth. Granted, only 2 games in, but surprising to not see SRSA in first place. That one goal allowed, moved them down. They are definitely beatable by more than 2 teams in this age group.silentparent wrote:I didnt see the game. It looks like a series of losses.gimeemore wrote:Wondering if some do not come into this forum for the sole purpose to talk about SRSA. There are 29 other teams in Lake Highlands folks! What does the "We beat SRSA" trophy look like anyway?
SRSA is an anomaly and like all anomalies, it fascinates us.
As humans, we first marvel at it. Then we try to understand and disarticulate it. Next, we try to reproduce it. Finally, we try to destroy it.
We humans despise anomalies and want nothing more than for all things to be equal!
