If you are looking for your DD to just show up and compete, you can register as "unattached" for $32.

Most track teams start in early May and are already 2 meets into their season but you should still be able to join a team (unless they are full, which some of the bigger clubs like Frisco Heat fill in one day). Just do a google search for track clubs in your city. Soccer kids do well in track - good luck to you!

One thing to note, a good soccer birthday is a tough track birthday. 1/1/04 competes in 10U, but 12/31/03 competes in 12U.

It may not matter as much at this age, but if serious about it and the best competition is desired it probably better to participate via USATF.
