We have very tough matchups against San Diego Surf, West Coast FC and Colorado Real. But if you are going to travel, then it is worth it to play better teams. There is nothing worse than traveling and playing 2 to 3 lame ducks. Waste of money and the only college coaches you see are the ones walking by on their way to other fields. If you have the good matchups, then the coaches are lining the endlines.

Move you got the right approach about the good competition but not many top Dr coaches in attendance. .....
Majority of the 1st round games for NCAA tournament is this weekend Sir!!!

Is this ECNL even scheduled every year at the same time, which conflicts with playoffs for all Divisions of NCAA Soccer?

Indeed. Some are coming to the later games on Sunday and aren't even on the official list (which includes 170 coaches attending).

As always, it is interesting to see how the NTX teams stack up against the west coast teams at all ages.

The count from our first game today was 40 college coaches attending our game. Some stayed the entire time, some stayed for a half.

In our game vs. eagles both squads had full benches and both squads cleared those benches at 20
min in each half. Each girl saw 40
minutes at least in the game.

I can't account for each players minutes, but I can tell you that all played today. Coach made a point to tell the girls that have already committed that they would see much less action than normal every game and even completely sit out one entire game. We want to win, for sure, but also let the girls that haven't been seen so much actually be seen. My daughter knew days ago that she wouldn't even play in today's game.
