Bracket A - Sting Higginbotham
Bracket B - Liverpool Elite
Bracket C - Fever
Wildcard - Sting East Gray

Champion: Liverpool over Sting Higginbotham


Silver:
Bracket A - Sting Covey
Bracket B - FCD No. Blue

4 games so far.  Higgy have won 4 games.  1 in JDL and 3 in last week's Houston pre-ECNL Showcase.  And of course they have won countless of scrimmages over time.


But the biggest factor is they have Coach Higgy.  That is a big plus.

Golly Gee Pele you are right. I stand corrected. They were 1 for the last 6 months then got 3 wins last weekend. After those 3 wins I don't know how they wont win it all. lol!

Well it's a Higgy/Elite final as many of you predicted. Not me. Never would have thought Higgy would make it out of pool play. Then again I never would have thought scoring just 1 goal would have advanced them out of pool play neither.

Congrats to Elite on a good win. JDL has some great teams no question about that. Higgy may very well be a good team but they are not DTS or FCD Red level yet.

No doubt that a clean sheet is a good thing. However the 3 bracket winner combined for 5 goals in 9 games. That is just weird. More of how could that be than anything else.

The strong winds seemed to play a heavy factor out there this weekend, teams had trouble with it for sure. Also 25 minutes halfs. Congrats to Fever and Solar for making the final 4 too! The group match between those two was quite a battle!
