The Future of 05 JDL and LH

Ok I have an 05 and I am highly confused. Once this ECNL and DA thing takes off what will JDL and LH look like for the other 05s ? Will there even be an 05 JDL? Will LH D1 be more like D3?

I think this is the million dollar question. I posted another thread getting at this same thing. The big clubs are pushing the ECnL DA thing but will there be total buy in from the parents at this age? Obviously some will commit to this but will everyone?

In theory, what you had in JDL last season will just be rebranded as ECNL/DA. So other than the Texans and Kicks leaving D1 (rumor I think), D1 should look similar to last season. Unless, a bunch of players and teams migrate from LH to To JDL. If that happens, then D1 will look like D2.

LHGCL will continue to fall. Although the bigs will still have a presence in the league just not their talent. DA and ECNL will acquire the top 150-200 players in each division.

Doubt it. This was not true of JDL and I don't believe it will be true of ECNL/DA. At least not yet.

Look at the older age groups and you will see the trend of players leaving LHGCL. Now with DA and ECNL double the number.

Hey, be condescending all you want but if this was the case, JDL would have had a near perfect record vs other leagues in Dallas. Hardly the case. Were the Texans and solar teams the best in the area (add Kicks who didn't play JDL), sure they were. But those few teams don't make up the top 200 kids in DFW.

Well I sure wish there was something official. I would just like to know which league will be more competitive, LH D1 or JDL 05? If there is not going to be a JDL 05 then please JDL folks announce that !!!

Welcome to change. I know it pains you. Notice kicks have moved all their teams to dfeeters. Why? Well it's about change and JM giving his clients the ability to play at the elite level. Hey it's not for everyone. You are welcome to stay in LHGCL. Good luck.

We all know these D1 teams are mixed in w JDL it's not rocket science the money and talent will always be infiltrated in the training grounds of the league. JDL is just additional game play for the money grab.

How about you come on out to D'Feeters practice tonight and bring those LP Elite girls with you.

BigEm was w Leroy last nice seeing double watching the peep show at the local truck stop...seeing double drinking the mad dog special....

I heard they are doing all 3 - ECNL, LHGCL and JDL (if it continues)

Some big shoes to fill, they will end up having to play all 3 to keep it...dazed and confused.
